Completed Activities
SSSYS, Disabled Helping Committee has been completed the following activities:-
Participation in Nepal Paralympic games.
Organizing blood donation program.
Participation in drug abuse orientation program and trained by Dr. Choplal Bhusal
Cutting-tailoring training for the women with disabilities to make them self relient.
Doko-namlo (bamboo materials) training to generate self employment for person with disabilities.
Sending person with disabilities to Mechi-Mahakali tour by wheel chair for peace and development campaign of the nation.
Distribution of scholarship to disabled students.
Distribution of supportive devices i.e. wheel chairs, tricycle, Baishakhi (Walking Aid), white cane etc. to persons with various disabilities.
Helping to its member for SAARC nation wheel chair tour for the world peace campaign.
Conduct an interaction program on the topic "Inclusion of the person with disabilities in Constitutional Assembly".
Conduct an interaction program on the topic "Management of Disabilities in Jhapa".
Conduct three days training on "Disability Management"
Sign board writing/painting training for person with disability to support them self employment.
Fomation of groups in leprocy affected 11 Village Development Committees and 1 Municipality in the district and helping them treatment in direct supervision of the organization and rehabilitation with distribution them supportive materials as specatles, slippers, shoes etc.
Performed a consert and entertainment program by national artist in search to generate financial sources and funds.
Construction and run a residential school for children with mental and severe disabled.
Organized Puran (Religious function) to collect donation for school building.
One day interaction program with Secretaries of Village Development Committees was held on the issues of rehabitalation faced by the children with severe disabilities or with mental disabilities.
Inteaction program to develop yearly action plan for Disabled Peoples' Organization and Village Disabled Rehabilitation Committee formed in Municipality and various Village Development Committees.
